how many crickets for 4 month old?

conodor Oct 24, 2003 12:39 PM

just brought 2 home, they are about 4 months old or so. how many crickets should i give them at each feeding.

i think the schedule i'm going to try to keep, from all the suggested reading from this site is.

9am lights on
11am feed them
4ish feed them
8pm feed them
10pm lights out

this will give them what is suggested of 13 hours of light and 2 hours before and after feeings. with a 3 feeding schedule.

thanks for any suggestions(first and second beardie i have ever had so i have lots of questions to make sure i'm doing it right!)

depends on there age, but its hibernation time .. cut down on the hours of daylight hours ...

as for the number of crickets ..through in a few, and keep giving them crickets until they stop eating. Just ensure to remove the uneaten ones --and crickets love to feast on baby beardies at night.
