I was in a reptile stoe in Los Angeles a few years ago and they had a red tokay. It was brick red and had greyish-blue spots. does any one have one? know where to get one? or have pics?

Damn that sounds badass.....I have no pics, though I would love to see some. Are you sure that it was a tokay though? To my knowledge the only morph available is the "albino". There have been instances of cheating at shows....I remember some guy tatoed a cal. king snake and sold it as a black and green for about 13k I think. Came off with the shed the guy was furiuos but the seller was nowhere to be found.
Nerd has calico tokays also. I haven't heard of any color morphs other then the albino and calico though.
There is very much variation in tokay colour. I also have seen animals, in which the red dots strongly dominated the blueish background. Such animals may look like red with blue instead of blue with red.
Not too abundant, but nothing special.
