What problems is it having? Ive seen geckos that have gone through hell, and back but still managed to survive. I dont think you should give up yet...

Anyway, The best way to euthanize a gecko, is to simply bring it to a vet...

sorry for your loss,

if there is no hope for your gecko, and you are positve i would say that you should, place it into a plastic container or a zip lock bag, thenjust put it in the freezer for a few hours by then it will have frozen to death, a simple, painless way to die. Plus you won't have to spend the lrage amount out money for the vet to either A) do the same thing or B) give it a shot.
Sorry to hear about the crestie.

Iutting it in a freezer is NOT a painless experience.

Its actually a very painful, slow death for the leo.

I have heard people using the freezer method to put their reptiles to sleep. I asked my veterinarian on this subject, he said this is a painless way to put a reptile down, of course not as easy as giving them an injection but it works. Cold blooded animals systems will slow down and eventually shut down and die, according to my herp vet it is painless.

Well, i still stand by my statement.

Actually, ice crystals form in their veins, and other iternal organs. YES, they are cold blooded, but even cold blooded animals feel pain when being frozen...not a very pleasent experience.

Well instead of just saying no, don't do that. Why don't you offer up an alternate? The only 2 ways to put a leo down is vet's shot and freezer? oh, and when freezing to death, it makes you feel stiff and slightly uncomfortable, then you "fall asleep" as your body slows down. Even for warm blooded creatures, freezing is a uncomfortable death. But far from painful. hence why most people freeze to death huddled up, instead of writhing in pain.....

I'm sorry your Crestie is suffering. Have you taken him to the vets? If so, what did the vet say? If not, what are his symptoms and what have you tried so far in terms of making him better? He looks fine in the picture, but maybe it's an older picture. I'm sorry I cannot offer advice on putting him down. I've never put down a reptile.
