Probablly getting sick of these, but another poop question

chikimonke Oct 24, 2003 04:14 PM

Ok, so my Jak hasn't eaten in a couple of days. But today he managed to poop anyways. However, the poop was a slightly lighter brown then ussual. And I can't tell if it's the same consistancy or not, if it isn't, there's not much of a difference. I'll keep an eye on it though. So is the discoloration from him not eating the past few days, or is there something wrong with him? Please let me know, and thanks for all your help.

Sean

Also, i have just recently switched to an all mealworm diet, might this also affect the coloration of the poop?

My leos' poops come in various shades from grainy grey to dark brown. I'd say pay more attention to the consistency unless you see blood or whole insect pieces.

But it's also possible that this is his "shed" poop. Weird-looking poo after eating all that skin. Just keep an eye out to make sure it's not consistently a strange color.
