Hello there, long time lurker first time poster.
Got a couple of Q's here for all you froggy people. The first is regarding the use of ultrasonic misters.
What i wanted to know was do those of you that have Ultrasonics with front ventilated Vivaria have any problems with the mist escaping through the vents and making things wet outside the tank?
Second question:
If any of you here are fammiliar with the configuration and construction of marine aquaria weir overflows then you might understand what im talking about. Basically what i invisige is a wier built into the corner of the vivarium that would basically be plumbed in to run backwards to how it would work in a reef tank. Essentaially allowing you to have an area where an Ultrasonic could be housed safely away from any of the inhabitants and detritus that may clog it. Also the Ultrasonic Wier would be supplied with clean filtered water from the Sump and then this would overflow into the Viv giving a simmilar effect to the waterfalls but with the added bonus of mist. Does this sound like a good idea, i was just going to have the glass partition drilled with various holes to allow the flow of mist and water through but without allowing the frogs in. Im sure any flys that might wonder in would simply be washed back into the viv. Anyone else have a simmilar setup, if so post a pic.
Thanks in advance for any replys.
