Are there any examples of albino Crotalus horridus in captivity, and if so have they ever been reproduced?

Coastal Reptiles has some albino C. horridus pics. Go to the snake pics link and then click on Crotalus.

....I don't know if they are being produced in captivity though. I would like to know this myself.
I was allowed to photograph this specimen while at SREL. I think you will find it pleasurable.
this photo is property of Notah Howe, no unauthorized use please.
Notah Howe

about a year or so ago, someone put up a pic in the KS venomous classifieds of a WC horridus horridus that he had just aquired (West Virginia I believe, but don't quote me on that). Was an interesting looking snake, very white as opposed to the yellow that most amelanistic crotes display.
I know of an area in an eastern state, where a friend of mine lives, that 2 albino C.h.horridus have been seen. I dont know who has them, nor have I never seen them, but my friend is not one to just pass along heresay. In that state a resident can own Timbers, so its mostlikely that they are now works in progress.
I appreciate the information.
Thanks to everyone for the information. It appears that the first two responses were referencing the same snake. To date, it looks like there have not been any hets produced. Thanks again,
Kelly
They are most definitely the same snake (SREL).
