Depends on the situation. I only soak my dragon when she has dragged herself through her own poo and during the times I do a throughout cleaning of her cage. Most bearded dragons get all the moisture they need from their food.

Babies need extra moisture and not just from their food, so regular mistings several times a day and frequent soaks is better for them than adults.
