Since that was 1.2 i figured i would try to pick out the male. The back monitor seems to be much bigger than the other two, and its head looks much longer. The other two have smaller, shorter sckulls. Just by looking at the heads, with very little experience at this, I would guess the closest head and the farthest head are female, with the back monitor being the mother. The middle head's bone structure above the nostril seems higher than the other two, and i think i have read that this is a male trait.
I would like to get better at picking out the males and females by physical traits. So, how did I do? Probably bad, i know, but at least I want to learn.
Truth
The top one with the head up is the male, the two with the heads down are females. Oh and the mother is not even in the picture.
Frank feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
I think that is very easy to tell. Its only tough when they are wee little ones. F
Yeah, I figured as much. It is very clear when they are older.
I agree the litte ones are just guess and see if your right.
Nice picture by the way. Maybe one day I will make room and add some of your babies to my ever growing collection. I just picked up a pair of flavi/crosses of yours. I guess the guy got the female from you anyways, the male came from pro exotics. I figured the male is probly from you originaly anyways.
