Finding a toad

pacman101 Oct 24, 2003 07:51 PM

I was wondering what a good toad to buy was, that is 40$ or under. Besides a fire belly toad.

If you want a toad that is easy to care for, small, and diurnal (day critters), check out Oak Toads (Bufo quericus). I think Exotic gems has them for 2.50 Ea. Shipping is usually pretty expensive though, so you might think about a "group buy". Depending on what part of the country you are from, you could have a pretty tough time finding a pet store that sells toads (other than fire bellies).

How to get your wife to like toads; 1.Get a male toad. 2.Get him to hug your wifes wrist (amplexus). 3. Tickle him so he chirps in protest. 4.Say "Awww, he likes you". Note; Make sure he pees first or you may receive bodily harm during this procedure.
