Hi I don't have a king snake yet because i don't know where to find one. Can anybody help me PLEASE!!

If you can wait a three weeks there will be a reptile show in Houston. The dates are November 15 & 16. I am in Louisiana and hope I can make this show. There should be a big selection of Kingsnakes available. You can probably select exactly the right snake and save money at the same time. These shows are so much fun and you get to see so many varieties and handle animals that you have only dreamed about. Thank you for the info on the show; unfortunately, he (son) has a scout camping trip that weekend, and we won't be able to attend. He's not real thrilled about it, either; he's already trying to get out of going camping.. LOL

This will be his first snake, so I'm not sure a king snake is the best one to have, but we're looking into it and researching which would be best.

Hogwash!! Kings are perfect for first snakes. Just don't let anyone talk you into getting a ball python as a first. lol

Ok, maybe I should have read this reply before replying to your post above. I agree on the pythons; I did the boa/python thing as a child, and know they're not the ones to start with.
