calcium question

ericmc83 Oct 24, 2003 10:06 PM

With my bearded dragon I dust his crickets using the "shake and bake" method in a plastic bag...but I've heard that you can just simply place calcium supplement on a dish and the leo will eat it when it needs some. Is this true? Does it work as well as dusting his mealworms and/or crickets? I know it'd be easier, but I want to do what works best...thanks in advance for any info. ~Eric M

The calcium in a dish works well for me,and all I do is place away from the water dish so the calcium doesn't get soggy. My female eats it more often then my male but the male does eat some. I also dust the crix and or mealworms every other feeding aswell. I hope this helps
