hello
im planning a trip to london next week and i may purchase some herps there
i just wanted to know if anyone know any of the laws about bringing reptiles over seas or where i can find out thank you!!

You can contact your local USDA office and they can inform you on what you will have to have. If I am not mistaken you will have to quarantine anything you bring back for a period of six months at a USDA quarantine facility. Which can be quite costly if your not careful. You will also have to have a medical bill of health issued by a veterinarian in the exporting country(London). There will also be some species of animals that they will not allow you to export out of their country.

I'm not sure on what would be needed but I know for a fact that there is no quarantine period for herps. You will need import and export papers and if it is on a CITES list it will be even more trouble. I would contact an importer and see if they can help you. I'm sure there will be a fee.
