Hello everyone....
I've been trying to improve on my water dragon's terrarium....and I'm mostly happy with it, except the pool is quite a hassle. Since he both drinks and defecates in it, as well as dragging in dirt, it gets dirty quick.
What I've done for the longest time is use a fish net to get out the heavy debris, then use a python water change system for water removal. Sometimes I don't get enough water pressure, so I have to use a bucket with a siphon powered by a powerhead.
And once a week, I take down all the rocks and moss that hide the pool, and wipe it down clean.
Of course, this is pretty labor intensive. What do you do?
I've considered a filter, but all the ones I can think of wouldn't be appropriate....either they stick out too much, are too weak, or just not usable.
Do any of you have an easily drained pool? I was thinking something like a troough with a spout in the bottom for easy draining, then cleaning and filling would be easy.
Anyways, let me know... thanks for your time.
