Tommy's fecal results came back. Turns out that he has coccidia too. I'm surprised, because he looks and acts healthy. Today I started petting him with my finger, and he stood and looked at me like a little puppy dog.

But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, because he came from the same breeder who sold me Caesar, who had hookworms and coccidia. The breeder actually gave me Tommy for free because of Caesar. Kind of ironic that he makes up for selling me a leo with parasites by giving me another leo with parasites. Fortunately, I've been keeping a pretty rigid quarantine for the both of them, so it's not likely that the coccidia has spread to my other three leos.

The breeder doesn't have a presence on Kingsnake, but he does frequent shows around the midwest. If anybody wants to know his name, just e-mail me (olivia@sound.net) or AIM: xeldelia

When you go to another show and see this breeder, what are you going to say to him?.

Sounds like he doesn't care if they have this disease, because otherwise I would think that he would take time off of going to shows in order to get his colonies health and not sell sick geckos.

I'm going to give him a phone call, because I'm not sure if he's aware that he has coccidia going around. He probably never spared the expense for any fecal exams.
