TO veronicag, Auntie Gunilla and others that take in and rehab dragons

I know how hard it is sometimes to let go of ones that you have taken in and restored to health, but think of a few things also and others should think about this.

Instead of buying another dragon to fill up a cage or enclosure, you poured your heart and money into one that did not have good chances before..... you spent time and showed them another style of life they never had or knew, then you sent them on their way, with more education to the person they went to or better understand of their needs. I am sure the dragons appreciated, there will ALWAYS be a bond there between you and them, no matter where they go.

This also cleared out a place for another needy one should the occassion arise that you can do the same thing for..... because obviously you have the ability, skill, knowledge and heart to be able to do it. Not everyone can or does it for the love of the animal, and that should be commended. Sometimes I get so busy with other things, I fail to respond to some post that I should and say thank you to others that have gone one step beyond the norm to make make a difference in another creatures life.

THANK YOU

I don't know what to say ... I'm touched. It really means a lot to me that you care so much to write to us and tell us - any everyone else on the forum - how you feel. You are absolutely right! Now I have room for another rescue.

I also must say that my husband is a major part in my rescue efforts. Without him I wouldn't be halfway where I am today. He's built cages for our rescues, has driven over 8 hours round trip to get Lizzy, and has supported me when I had to spend a big wad of money at the vet for a sick reptile. What can I say, I've been blessed with a loving husband that supports everything I do.

Like Trevor said, my husband and I just got back from Deer Fern Farms and visited Doug Dix. He's an amazing guy. And it was worth the 9 hours of driving... boy am I tired.

Thank you again Cheri. You made my day - heck you made my month!

With love,
Veronica
