I feed my DHL's mostly ants (95 %). But every once in a while I go out with my black light and collect moths, winged ants and what ever else I think might be appetizing to them. My DHL's are housed in a 60 gal (3 of them).
When I put in an insect or two that buzzes around the cage they get very excited and will "peck" at each other occasionally in competition for the snack. This morning two of them actually liplocked for a sec to get a moth first.
Does anyone have any similar experience?
