Cooling balls to breed? A ? FOR THE BREEDERS,,,,,,,,,,

Do you have to cool balls to breed or is it just the fact that you would have a better chance of them breeding Thanks

I have found that if I do not cool the females, they do not produce, even with photoperiod changes. This seems consistent with other snake species I have bred as well.
