What size viv's would adult gold phase WLPs need? Would something as large as 5'x2'x2' be wasted on them? They're not as big as the blacks, and quite slender so 5 footers seem a bit excessive...?

Any input would be appreciated

Thanks
Mike

no such thing as a too big of a cage.

Even a 5 foot cage will eventually be too small for a GP WLP.

now how about some pics?

So 5'x2'x2' is too small for a WLP??

I don't have pics yet. I currently have a male GP WLP that is about 2 months old and should be picking up a female of a similar age sometime next week. I have a couple of 5'x2'x2' vivs going spare so they WERE earmarked for the WLPs. Looks like I may need to think again...

Any other views on viv size? What do you current WLP owners use?

Thanks
Mike

I dont mean to make green hornet look bad but 5x2 is just fine for an adult white lip. They sometimes get larger, yes. But 5x2 is fine. My white lip is about 4-5 feet long and i have him in a 4 foot long vision cage. Im not saying larger than 5 feet would be bad, but its not essential for a snake that doesnt do a damn thing all day anyway!

Thanks for the input. I've been trying to find more caresheets and info on WLP's and me having wulf's old site instead of the new one book marked certainly didn't help!

I know what you mean about snakes that don't do anything though. I had a Blood Python a while back that did an excellent impression of a stone...

Indigos on the otherhand....
