As you all know I have tried everything to get Beanie to eat
again on her own. A couple of weeks ago I went to hear PHfaust
give a talk on Igs and was able to ask questions. She really
feels like this is behavioral on Beanie's part and told me to
stop feeding for 2 weeks. I did and it didn't work! I have
taken her to 3 very good exotic vets who could find anything
wrong with her to explain it. I had posted that I took her
a week ago Friday and that vet put her on a small dose of pain
meds/day just to see. At the same time I got my new baby
Digit and Beanie really came alive. Neither the meds nor baby
Digit has persuaded her to eat. Although she allowed me to
force feed 50 cc's of food and would have taken more if I had
not stopped. I am only doing this every 3 days per my vet.
Does anyone have any more thoughts on things to try with her?
I think my next step is the University of Madison. I am soooo
frustrated!
