My set up and little turtle

Anddawede Oct 25, 2003 06:49 PM

Someone suggested that I post pictures of my turtle so he can be IDed. I finally brought my digital camera in from the car and took a few pictures. He was very patient with me. His belly photo is cute because he was getting restless and kicking out his feet. I don't have a basking picture because he wouldn't cooperate LOL. His been stalking fish today so hasn't been interested in basking, at least not when I've been around. I also included a picture of my tank set up. Like I've said, it's small, but I'm planning on upgrading. Since the pictures were taken at 6 pm at night, there isn't much natural light.

Well, you are definitely posting in the right place because you have a Red Eared Slider!! Your tank looks nice...very comfy for a little guy. (Start tank shopping soon though for something bigger...but you know that already!) RES are very easy to ID because they look like their name...the red patches along where their "ears" would be give them away.

So congratulations and good luck!!
