I like those brown backs. They have an interesting look. Any idea if they are similar to Corey Woods' black backs that are the hets for his Red Axanthics? I remember that his black backs were also "not quite" normal colored.

As far as them being het red axanthics like Corey's animals......I just don't know. There are a couple of things I have to do before I can give you a decent answer. One is to produce more brown backs and the other is to breed a brown back to brown back.
I might have an answer for you in a couple of years!
Heck, I'm not even sure I'll be calling them brown backs down the line - I have to see how they mature.
