My skink is brownish with orange and yellow near the head and ive looked everywhere but no one knows what kind it is any clues?

Can you post a picture? Did you buy it from a pet store or where did you catch it? How do you know it is a skink? A photo or a very detailed description would be helpful.
If this animal is from a pet store, Berber/Schneider skinks are commonly sold.
You can type sand skink, sand fish, berber skink, schneider skink into google to see if the photos look like what you have. If this is a native animal that you caught, your location would be useful.
