Shedding

Do sub adult beardeds have a tenancy to not eat as much as usual when their shedding?

not have them so much.... we have one that we call it her PMS time...... and we stay away from her.

and his appetite absolutely dropped off the last few days, and when I reached in to feed him he did the whole gaping mouth thing...Pretty brave for a 6" pissant...Gotta luv the little guys courage!!! I let him know I was boss though when I picked him up without him doing anything to me!!!! In all honesty though my iguana HOSS always had a big attitude and appetite loss during his sheds so I don't see any differnce and I know my friends bally python, BIG SHOW, does the same...

I have a juvie that will rub up against me like a cat when he is shedding! If my hand gets near him, he will arch his back and rub it on my fingers. He does the same thing with his head. It is really funny to watch. So far, he hasn't had any appetite or attitude changes when he sheds, but I'm sure that will change when he gets older.
