Hey everybody... opinion question. I just finished building an enclosure thats 37in long, 17 high, and 20 wide. The opinion part is... should i go with a bearded dragon or get a couple more collards? I'm kinda leaning toward the dragon for more of a variety, but i just wanted to see the good and bad of the choices. Preciate the info guys, tnx

....house beardies AND collareds in the same enclosure,(NEVER) or try to keep more than one mature male in there either. The size difference between BD's and collareds is too great, the BD's will MURDER your collareds. I'd say you have a nice "excuse" to get more females LOL.

For an adult beardie it's not that big actually. My guy Auggie is 17 or maybe a tad more inches long. And I love my big guy Dragon, but as adults they are pretty inactive, but usually very nice. Auggie is a sweetheart, and I'm happy to have him.

As far as fun to watch and activity levels, collareds win hands down. Has to be your choice though. Nobody can choose for you !! They are both excellent pets, collareds just being much more active. Good luck ! Eve
