Python molurus "pimbura" and molurus molurus: scalation???

Hi, I write from Europe.
I know Python molurus pimbura (Ceylonese python) is not considered a subspecies, but what are the differences in scalation? (I know pimburas are generally lighter in colour, but it is not a "scientific" difference).
