I was told by 2 seperate people that what I have is a Red Eared Slider which is great, because I've been assuming he was a RES and treating him as such. Now Mike aka "Mr. Turtle Man" aka "Little Man" can be treated as properly as I can manage. I've been afraid that I have an illegal turtle and even though I'm not the one who plucked him from nature, it still concerned me because I don't believe in taking anything out of nature for a pet. If I could have gotten a straight answer at work where the turtle had been picked up at, I would have done my darndest to put him back.
