do i feed herhim as much as shehe will eat? (lol haven't figured out gender yet).
And what are the varieties of food items i can offer... is there anything they *cant* eat (besides the obvious... crayons and such)
Thanks

Hi there! I've got two Blue Spiny's and during the summer months I feed them as much as they want. They kind of hibernate during the winter months and don't eat much, that's why I do what I do. I know these are two different species but they are very similar. I offer them 10 crickets each every other day. They don't always get eaten, but at least they're there. I've also given them mealworms and silkworms. They're not very picky, as long as it's moving and will fit in there mouths. Some will eat veggies, so it wouldn't hurt to try. The best info I've found is a book called "Swifts & Spiny Lizards" by Ray Hunziker. Hope this helps.
