How many leos can live in a 100 gallon tank? ----->

Leo Lover Oct 26, 2003 01:07 PM

My dad has a 100 gallon tank sitting around, and he asked me how many could fit in it.

I think he wants to get some leos to keep, who knows maybe he'll even want to breed them! I dunno. :P I just think its funny how the herp bug has rubbed off onto him now!!!

Anyways thats all I wanted to know.

And actually he really likes the stripe morph. He thinks those are really cool. He told me he loves all the bold markings and with the stripe on the tail as well. He wants to get some before the weather gets too cold to ship.

Any suggestions on where I should go to find him some. I have K&N and Geckoville in mind, but those of you on the forum, do you have any left?

I thought maybe this would be a cool "early" Christmas present for my dad. I just want to do something for him, since he has helped me out alot when I first got started in leopard geckos, when it began as a hobby almost 3 years ago.

Thanx everyone I appreciate all your help!

100 gallons is quite large, and leos will love it! I'd say about 20 leos or less would fit in it.

Perhaps you're right, and 20 could be a bit too many for 100g.

I was actually thinking of putting like, between 5 - 7 leos in it for my dad.

I dont think 20 would fit in there, maybe hatchlings, but not adults. That pushing the limit. But of course I like my geckos to have enough room.

Thanx for the replies.
