how long do i leave the no-pest strips in for.

i put a 1.5 by 1.5 in my boas and my ball pythons cages how long shoul;d i leav it in for ?

. No pest strips are not nearly as effective and much more dangerous than Provent-a-mite and Black Flag. We used to use no pest strips placing them in the cage for three days with the water dish removed. They killed most but usually not all of the mites and the treatment had to be repeated. Most keepers did not have the longevity with their snakes that we are achieving today. No pest strips may have been part of the reason.

I've used no pest strips for a very long time with success. But one thing for sure is: Never put them inside the cage. I've always put 2-3 of them in a room where I house the snakes but at opposite ends of the room. That's very important, as they are pretty toxic, but very effective. I can say that not 1 mite has ever been in my cages or on my herps!!
