crested gecko?

skits Oct 26, 2003 06:31 PM

Hi, i'm currently an eastern collard owner, and i've just gotten addicted to reptiles, well anyways I've had reptiles for a while now and i was considering all my options for a different kind of lizard. My question is what are the basic needs and care/handling of crested geckos? How much tank do they need? Tnx

crested are GREAT lizard and are pretty easy to keep. All you need is a cage, some things for them to climb, two bowls (one for water one for babyfood). Crested like a little but of moisture, so spray down the cage about once everyother day. you can succesfully use papertowels as substrate. And there you have it, crested gecko cage complete. Feed them crickets or mealworms dusted with calcium everyother day, alternating with babyfood with calcium mixed in it
