noticed a small boo boo with slight swelling on my collard lizards foot...

starmom Oct 26, 2003 07:09 PM

is it ok to put neosporin on it? as a first measure...

any recommendations on care? Daniel is a very sweet texas collard lizard and very cooperative with care...

his home was just recently scrubbed clean and all new substrate added.

I will watch it closely for negative changes (increased reddness, swelling, compesating with walking etc....)

Appreciate any imput, never had a boo boo except with a snout rub from a reptarium with my beardies over the summer...that took a long time to heal but its totally fine now....

i would wash it with some novalson or betadine and take him off any particulate substrate, know thats a pain but it really can help in keeping it clean.
