Why is she so small?

tigerhou21 Oct 26, 2003 08:16 PM

Hi all!
This morning, I found out all my albino nelson snakes hatch out already, but there is one snake is smaller than all others. She is about half of the others size. You can see from the picture, all the snake are hatch at the same day, but there is one no matter the length or weight are only less than half of other snakes. All the eggs are the same size also, from same clutch. She is also very active and looks everything are all develop already. Just want to ask is she normal? Is she going to stay small compare to all other nelson when she gets adult? Thanks.

I'd say it would be worth cutting open all the eggshells to see if there is a dead twin in one of them. It's happened.
