what is the best substrate? is corn cob ok everything i read says something dif. how can i sex a baby? are they all this cute lol

Aspen is, in my opinion, the best substrate. It is easy to clean and the snakes can burrow through it readily. It also do not but out noxious fumes. Andy

I agree with Andy, Aspen is the best substrate. You can sex one just like you would sex any other colubrid (see link below). And yes they are all cute!
