Meal worms and wax worms

Kikai Oct 27, 2003 08:53 AM

My Beardie likes a treat now and again, so I get Meal worms, and when they molt or pupate, I give him some. Now, I have heard that wax worms are delicious...er...for beardies, so I got a few of those at my last feeder trip. Note to self: DON'T put wax worms and meal worms together in the same container! Wax worms ARE delicious, to meal worms, too. They ate my wax worms. Lesson learned.

Everyone loves waxworms! Evidently because they eat honey, they're quite sweet. Ive had crickets eat mine before.
