All,
I'm new to this group, and have a question
concerning mating balls. I have a male and a female
housed in the same vision cage. Recently, they were
off feed for the most part and had minimal heat. 2
weeks ago I added plenty of heat and started feeding
them very well. I did not change the light periods (I
added an hour yesterday, though).
Well, the two snakes spent the best of 5 days in the
back of the cage coiled on top of each other. While I
never saw them copulating, I did notice twice that out
of a seemingly random "pile-o-snakes" the tails were
aligned perfectly as if they had previously been
copulating. It certainly didn't look accidental is
all I'm saying.... That was yesterday, and for the
remainder of the day the male had returned to his spot
in front of the cage - no more snake pile.
Is it possible that due to the small changes I made,
or by their own decision maybe, that they have made
sweet love down by the fire?
If I have left any important info out, please let me
know. Thanks in advance!

hoping for first clutch,

Aaron Wright
