for those of you out there in san diego county, hope you and your animals stay safe. getting scary out there, its snowing ash here in encinitas and the sky is purple and red with the sun trying to shine through the smoke. the Santa Ana winds are keeping things very hot here. I think we should stay safe here in encinitas, if anyone out there needs a hand with your dragons or other pets, our place is small but im sure we can set up some rubbermaid bins somewhere in here

Wow, Reiko. I didn't realize it was that bad. Maybe it's time for a week long "Noah's Ark" boat trip? But in all seriousness I hope that you and all of your animals stay safe. Let us know any updates.

this fire thing is horrible! im in the southbay and i have lotz
of friendz in the affected areas that had to evacuate now , hope all is well and pls take care ....lol peace

yeah dude this whole situation really sucks... thankfully i dont think the fire will reach me over here, but i know a lot of poeple that were affected. unfortunately though yesterday afternoon after waking up to a hazy yellow sky and seeing that horrible monster on the news, i went outside to bring my bearded dragons in... only to find one of them had passed, im guessing from smoke inhalation, thankfully though the male made it and is fine in my cat's kennel. all of my animals are reacting to the fire though its really an experience. my parrot especially is going crazy, im having a lot of trouble comforting him. but right now i am really hopeful, its looking a lot better today compared to yesterday when san diego looked like hell on earth (seriously reminicent of dante's inferno). i hope not too much wildlife was killed, but we have so much fauna i really don't see how they would have been able to escape that. hopefully the worst is behind us.
