Went to the vet today

chimbakka Oct 27, 2003 10:36 AM

Everything seems ok. She weighs 80g now (in July she was 43). I had an x-ray done and there are eggs but they aren't finished developing yet. He said her bones looked good also. He suggested to keep the lights on for an extra half hour every week until they are on for 14 hours a day. The photoperiod might be part of the problem. I feel a lot better! Orion is mad at me now, but she'll live

I'm glad everything is OK. I know first hand regretting not taking one of mine to the vet because there was nothing to worry about. Mine was egg bound for about 2 weeks before she showed signs and I alsmot lost her, but she's doing fine now Better safe that sorry! Just curious, how much did that x-ray cost you? Mine set me back 178 dollars.

I'm glad to see things are still okay for little Orion!
I was actually surprised to even read that she was expecting...she's like my favourite niece, and still seems too young to be having babies!

Good luck to you and to Orion!!!
