Sex differences (in burms)

How accurate can you dtermine the sex of a snake, 8-11 feet, by looking at the tail. If you can what are the differences in tail appearences? Thanks.

There is really know way to 100% identify sex by just looking at the tail of the snake. There are physiological differences but they should not be used as a definitive way to sex the snake. As a rule males have larger spurs than females but like I said this is usuals and if you do not have a definite male or female to compare with then you are basically just guessing. With a snake of that size the only accurate way to identify a snake is by probing. Todd
