mirrors a problem?!!!

mismodliz Oct 27, 2003 11:57 AM

This weekend, I took lindsay78's advice and blocked off the kitchen for my beardie to run. He has seems restless and anxious to get out. To block off our storage area, my boyfriend put his mirror down lengthwise. My guy was loving running around until he came across the mirror. He froze, then ran up to it and began running into it over and over again, licking toward it. His beard became black!!! We flipped the mirror, but it took him quite awhile to calm down and for his beard to go back to normal coloring.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? I assumed the beard changing to black was a sign of irritation/anger. He has a slight reflection in his tank, so I never expected a mirror to be a problem!

I think he just showed you why two males can't be kept together. He saw another male and was ready to fight.
