If I put in enough for the day I ad a couple of pinches of gutload at the bottom of the cup to keep them well gut loaded.
I do that anyway in case she doesn't eat them all right away. I leave pieces of kale in the cup. The reason I ask is b/c she eats them so fast I worry! I have to admit that my getting up time does vary day to day so i will sometimes leave a couple in there over night so she has something in the morning. Yesterday I thought for sure she was going to burp!! LOL! She ate 4 or 5 very quickly and then just sat there gaping and I could see the butt end of one in her throat! Maybe I'll just leave some in there all the time so that when I begin to cut back the adjustment will be easier - for both of us! LOL!

I put in about 10 crix for the day. My panthers go straight to the container eat their fill and move on. I do this every other day.
