I have owned a 2 yr old western coachwhip for almost 2 months now. He just shed for the first time since I have owned him and it has been coming off in patches for the last couple days. I know that patchy shedding is not good. Any suggestions to help? I'm understanding that these snakes do not need a great deal of humidity. What are acceptable humidity levels? Also, I just have a small water dish for him to drink out of and no bathing pool, should I reconsider this? He has plenty of rocks and branches to rub against.
Thanks,
Jason
