hey again,
i decided to occupy myself with building that new cage for my herps today to get my mind off the fact that my house might be devoured by the fire (which already claimed the life of my bearded dragon before i had a chance to bring them inside)... damn irresponsible hunter. so anyway my question is this: i have a timor monitor and a ball python to house. right now the monitor is in a cage that is much too small for him, as you might already know. so i am building a cage that is 36 inches by 18 inches by 30 inches (L X W X H) that is gonna be in a croner on the floor and one that is four feet above the floor and its an aquarium 48 inches by 18 inches by 18 inches.... so my question is which cage you "pros" think is best for the timor monitor, or if you also know about ball pythons then you might be of even more help. i guess since the cages are of comparable size my question is wether you think the timor will enjoy a higher vantage point over the python (even though he (the snake) doesnt get out of his burrow much)
thanx,
jake

thanx for all your guys's help on the thread bellow, i gave him some crix about a half hour ago and five minutes ago he went on the prowl until finally he found and snatched his first cricket since i got him... and has been chompin down on those poor sob's even since.
there r no words to describe the joy that i am feeling knowing that i no longer have to worry about his health!!! (ok that he is willing to feed himself, not that i no longer have to provide the right enclosure, temps, light, humidity, cleaning, substrate, supplements, food and alla that stuff.
thanx a lot guys,
Jake
