hes young,(smal)and i have a house full of junk

...behind the junk

All joking aside, start looking near his enclosure first, then slowly circle outward. They often hide in the first available cosy spot, then venture out again later.

Under the heaviest major appliance in the house.
Honestly, my Timor always headed straight for the dryer, although he would also venture out to drink from the dog's dish. Oh yeah... leave water out, you want him to be hydrated when you find him.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

I was going to vacume my couches one day so I got the hose out and hooked it up. I turned it on and began trying to use it. I couldnt get any suction from the thing!! I was like "damn f-ing vacume, I just paid 1500. bucks for this stupid thing!" Then I decided to check the hose to make sure it was clear. I unhooked it and shook it violently. I heard a little hiss. Boy was I confused. Since when did vacume hoses hiss!? I peered into the end, and saw a little tail!
Well, it turned out to be my little female Timor! I had no idea how long shed been in there, let alone that shed even gotten out of her cage!
I found her escape route and fixed it to prevent any future mishaps.
Its just interesting, the odd places that they will hide.

Heres a few...

inside the closet(specifically in the cuffs of hanging pants)
under the fireplace
under the fridge
in the couch
behind the bed
on the screen door

Good luck!
Im sure hell turn up in a couple days.

inside pillow cases.

Someone on one of these forums (this one?) mentioned that it happened to them recently with a V salvator (I think his wife laid her head down, then screamed) and one of my animals did the same thing when I let him out one day. I was typing away on the computer and saw him crawl up onto my bed out of the corner of my eye, but when I went to find him couldn't locate him anywhere, until I rested my hand on the pillow.

May as well be sleeping with Salvadori...or my b-friend for that matter! Just kidding Dan! Hahahaha!!!!!

My varius aren't inclined to bite out of defence or malice. The one that hid in the pillow is particularly calm, but does have a wicked feeding response.

Honestly I would look for an hour or two under, inside of, and on top of everything you can find. If you still cant find him...let a cat loose. Cats are really good at finding salvators. Seriously though, he should pop out every once and while, which is when you have to run to try to catch him. He will run like there is no tomorrow. I am assuming that he is wc or ch. In that case...WHERE GLOVES! They do NOT like to be captured, and will readily bite. Even if they are cbb they usually still do that. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted if you find him!
