I Got one of these guys from the pet store for my birthday, last saturday. I'm know the guy who works there so when I came in he showed me them, and told me the basics of how you take care of them. The trouble is they are apartently pretty knew, and I can't realy find any sites on the internet about them. There is a guy in Washington, Vermont who breeds them which is why they were in the pet store. Like I said I know all the basics about how you care for them, but I just want some more information. Like does anyone know where they come from? The amazon? or any thing like that? If you happen to know anything about them, or any good sites I would realy appreciate the info, thanx.

Hello. I have yet to find a good site with any good info on them; however, my site will be going up in a matter of days and I may have some of the info you are looking for. For instance, they occur in Surinam, French Guiana, Amazonian Brazil, and Amazonian Ecuador. Some say that they are in Bolivia also, but I hear this is not confirmed. I'll have a care sheet and some natural history info on my site..... I'll let everyone know when it is up.
