Question: I have a 5inch common snapper which I would like to keep outdoors. I created a gardenpond about 32inch deep.
Temperatures over here will be roughly within -10C in winter and 30C in summertime. Average water temperature will be 10-25C. Biggest ice layer will be about 10 inches for a couple of weeks.
Will it hibernate?
Do you think it will survive? I know there are some wild snappers over here from people who dumped theres into our local waters.
They have now grown to 20 inch monsters 
finishing of the local wildlife like swans....
