I would not go over 85 F. Actually, the temperatures at night should drop about 10 degrees less than your daytime temps. This aid the frogs in sleeping, as the cooler temperatures slows their system down. In general, I prefer to keep my azureus/tincs at 78-80 in the day and 70-73 at night. If your frog room is kept at a comfortable temperature, you are just wasting electricity with that red bulb.

Why even use a red bulb at night? I have a a proven group of Leucomelas that continued to breed even when the tank was in the mid 90's but leucs can stand it hotter than some darts. dart frogs are fine if the tempeture drops to low 60 at night so long as it heats back up during the day time.
the thing is at night, in the room they're in it can get down to very low 60s. during the day the temp in the tank is about 75. i don't want they too get too cold so thats the reason for the red bulb.
So exactly how hot is it getting in the vivarium at night with the bulb on?

about 80 on that side of the tank.
That sounds a bit warm for a nighttime temperature. I would opt for low sixties rather than 80's.
