Most people think they are males.
Although after seeing both you cant mistake them. I made the same mistake for a long time unable to sex them properly. Lets see a good full body shot of the big boy.
I have a female BT/WT cross and a male but the female is 6ft long and wants to kill my male on sight of him. Of course she has also lost her reproductive system to surgery, and shes a part of my family so she goes no where. She did get along with a F Retes Banded WT male but he was way too tiny (they are the same age), that little bugger wants to get it on with everything practically. Introducing them at 6ft long is like messing with landmines, one step from a deadly explosion at any time. I was told that after growing up alone they dont know how to communicate with each other afterwards, but theres a small chance that they might get along.
