I am looking for a female between 17mo. and 3years old for a breeding project. I want one from a ruptuble person/breeder that was C.B. in the U.S.

Any one have any idea how much I should expect to pay for one like that? Any one know of a place on-line would have frilleds like that for sale? Or can any one point me in the right direction? Thanks for your help, Jake.

Check the classifieds and sponsor sites as well as teh breeder listings here on kingsnake. As for cost, I suspect a female would be at least $300.

If anyone has a CB female frilled at that age/size (as I do), they would probably have raised it with the intent to breed her. Captive bred females at that age would be hard to come by. I wouldn't sell mine, but I'd say the price range would be $450-500 for New Guineas.

If anyone was selling an adult female for less, I would suspect that it was either wild caught or a spent breeder. Your best bet is to look for a younger female and raise her up to size. Good luck.
