NEED HELP with false bottom

rc_racer_007 May 29, 2003 04:25 PM

i asked this about a week ago with no reply.

i trsts my false bottom to see how much water it would hold. i then siphoned out the water and there was still standing water in the pvc spacers after the water was drained. i have the spacers siliconed in place. only 1/4 of the bottom is glued, just enough to hold in place.

so after a while the water wil overflow from the spacer. My question is, will the water just flow into the resivior or will it make its way into the substrate? here is the way it wil be set up

pvc spacers
eggcrate
fiberglass screen mesh
gravel
another layer of mesh
then soil
