What do you use under the coco hut?

kyle1745 May 29, 2003 04:30 PM

Ok, I heard one of my leucs calling today, and I guess its time I put something under the coco hut just in case. They are still a little young, but I guess if they are calling they might be ready.

I had some pringles lids saved, but my wife pitched them... Guess I have to eat some more.

So what do you guys use under the coco huts?

Ya mine are too young, they can only be 6-7months old, but they have grown very fast. I'm sure they are full grown if not very close.

Kyle,

I have to use clear deli cup lids. I tried a pringles lid as well as other white lids and when I use anything other than clear, they lay their eggs on top of leaves. The last time they used my black velvet allocasia. My male started calling at 7 months and it took almost another 6 months for the female to begin to respond to him. Watch your female when the male calls, if she is mature and ready, she will show a definite interest as soon as he calls.

Cool, like I said I think I have some time to wait. The question is what will I do with all the froglets if they do start laying.
